Creamy, slightly sweet, and totally addictive, this homemade Yum Yum Sauce recipe comes together in minutes using simple pantry ingredients. It's the classic hibachi-style sauce you know and love from Japanese steakhouses. It is perfect for drizzling over fried rice, grilled chicken, shrimp, or veggies.

Fried rice and hibachi nights were always a favorite in our house when the kids were growing up. They never skipped the Yum Yum Sauce from our local hibachi restaurant, so I had to recreate it at home. It brings back a lot of fun memories around the table, enjoying food and fun together.
What is Yum Yum Sauce?

The actual recipe calls for garlic salt. all other mentions are of garlic powder. I assume this was a mere typo and it is indeed garlic powder one would use. Just seeking clarification.
CookitwithTim says
Yes! Both would work but you don't want it too salty. Thanks for finding this hiccup! Fixing now.
