About Tim
Tim has been in the restaurant/catering business for 20 years. Tim has traveled the globe and loves getting to experience all cultures through food. He then brings that to his kitchen sharing the flavors and ideas back with the world.
Tim and his wife Jacque love Knoxville - they love helping the less fortunate in the community.
They are often found under the bridges downtown feeding the hungry for their non profit Juniper Worldwide. They have a heart to train and teach the hospitality industry to those who need help finding a purpose in life.
Where It All Began
I grew up in northern Alabama on a farm, where family meals at the "Family Table" were central to our life. My mother, blended her Italian heritage with Southern cooking, creating a rich tradition of shared meals. I have such fond memories of cooking with family, particularly my grandparents, who taught me to appreciate simple, homemade foods like toasted bread and gnocchi. Every meal was amazing as long as you were sharing it with family.
The importance of the 'Family Table' continued into adulthood, where I developed a love for cooking while working in the restaurant industry. After marriage and the birth of my children, family meals remained a key part of our life, fostering connection and love. Despite challenges, including a divorce and raising children as a single dad, cooking always brought us together as a family.
Our Family Table Today
After meeting my wife, Jacque, and blending our families, my perspective on family meals deepened. We had more to cook for and had to get creative! Our family has continued to grow, making me a Pop Pop. Carrying on the tradition of our family recipes and sitting down for family meals has never been as strong as it is now. And that's what I want to share with my followers, friends and family.
