Yes, you read that right: deviled egg grilled cheese sandwich. This sandwich is unique, whimsical, filling, and absolutely fantastic. No more wondering about what to do with the leftover deviled eggs from easter or your latest family gathering.

These sandwiches are so easy to make because the deviled eggs (should be) already made! The hardest part will be deciding if you should have this for breakfast, lunch, or dinner...or all three.
How to make Deviled Egg Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
- Butter up both slices of bread on each side and then toast them in a skillet over medium heat.
- Once you flip bread place 4 deviled egg halves on the piece of bread and remove the other piece once toasted and place mayo on bread.
- Then place cheese and bacon on the bread still in skillet and using 1 tablespoon of H2O place it in the pan with a lid and cover for 90 second to melt cheese well and water should evaporate.
- Place other piece of the mayo covered bread on top and press down gently and you have a Deviled Egg Grilled Cheese Sandwich.

Notes on making Deviled Egg Grilled Cheese Sandwiches:
- Get that bacon crispy! The contrast in texture from the eggs and melty cheese is what you're going for.
- I'm from The South, so any other kind of mayo other than Duke's just isn't going to cut it! (I mean, I'm sure it will be okay. But trust me, try Duke's!)
- If you are truly wanting to make this sandwich over the top, use homemade bread. It really does make a difference. Try my sourdough recipe here.
