This creamy Whipped Feta cheese is blended with garlic and a twist of lemon, then topped with fresh herbs for an easy, flavorful dip. Have it ready for serving in only 5 minutes!

We're always looking for tasty, quick appetizers to throw together or make-ahead of time. This checks all the boxes! It's tangy, creamy and easy to make. I love using this feta cheese dip because it can served with most things we already have on hand. Serve it with breads, crackers, vegetables and/or fruits (grapes are a favorite go-to).
What I love most about this dip though, is the lightness it brings to the table. It's not thick and heavy, but a little goes a long way. If you're looking for more dip to make a spread of options, try the Dill Dip or the Olive Dip as well!

Why You'll Love this Recipe
- Ready in 5 Minutes - After squeezing a lemon and mincing garlic, all you have to do is blend and serve!
- Easy To Customize - It's traditionally lemon flavored, but you can add different flavor profiles by adding pine nuts, pistachios, mint or dill. Want it spicier? Add more red pepper flakes or serve with slices of jalapeños.
- Make-Ahead - This will keep for 3 days in the fridge. Make it ahead of time and then spread over a plate with vegetables, pita chips or bread when you're ready for serving.
Ingredients

- Feta Cheese: Don't get it pre-crumbled. Use a block of feta cheese.
- Olive Oil: I used a lemon infused olive oil from Blazing Bella, but a plain olive oil with work as well.
- Lemon Juice: Use freshly squeezed lemon juice. It makes a huge difference.
- Greek Yogurt: Make sure it's a "plain" greek yogurt. You can use a low-fat or non-fat greek yogurt.
- Garlic: Use a minced garlic from cloves that are freshly chopped.
- Parsley: For an optional topping. We also sprinkle our whipped feta with crushed red pepper flakes.
- For Serving: Pita bread, tomatoes, cucumbers, bell peppers, baguettes or your favorite dipping items.
Tim's Tip: Packaged crumbled feta is too dry for this recipe. Using a block of feta is the key to this whipped feta dip.

Expert Tips
- Choosing the Cheese - Use a block of feta for the creamiest results.
- Olive Oil - We use our high quality olive oil for the drizzle on top. It brings a fresh aroma and fresh taste to the dip rather than it feeling "greasy" on the palate.
Substitutions and Variations
- Add Nuts - Top with pine nuts, crushed walnuts or crushed pistachios for an added texture and nutty flavor.
- Different Flavors - Try skipping the lemon, and add in hot honey for a sweeter dip with a kick. Make it smoky by using roasted red peppers and smoked paprika or try a Mediterranean style with blending sun-dried tomatoes and topping with chopped green olives.
- Olive Oils - A garlic or lemon infused olive oil works great on this whipped feta cheese dip! You can find more variety of flavors to try on BlazingBella.com.

Storage
Store in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 4 days. It's best if whipped again before serving. Try to store it without toppings if possible.
Freeze the dip for up to 2 months after pressing plastic wrap directly onto the dip in an airtight container. Thaw overnight and whip before serving. You may need to add more yogurt to bring back the creaminess.
