What is FRENCH GREEN BEAN?
Think of French Green Beans as the taller and thinner member of the Green Bean family. They are also said to be more tender because they are picked earlier than regular green beans. This also means, more flavor! Because they are 'skinnier', they are able to crisp up more easily in the baking process. Winner winner, Green Beans for Dinner!

Substitutions and additions
Green Beans are so easy to season and customize! See below for some more options.
- Garlic Powder - You can use real cloves for a stronger garlic taste, but make sure you mince it as finely as you can for seasoning. If you like to enjoy a roasted garlic bite...leave chunky pieces ;). We're big garlic fans in this house!
- Green Beans - Can use canned green beans but it's harder to get the 'crispy' effect.
- Spice it up - I nice spice kick is great with this side dish! Add in crushed red pepper flakes for another level of greatness.
- Italian Seasoning - Although salt, pepper and garlic work great...We've also made this Italian Seasoning mixtures and it's been perfect when pairing it with an Italian dish. The courses pair perfectly together! Have some fun with it and throw some oregano in there!
